Event Volunteer
From time-to-time, we produce community-based events for organizations that allow student and other volunteers to assist.
For many, these programs can be an excellent to gain experience and make new connections.
Currently, we have limited openings for volunteers to participate in the upcoming ONYX Magazine’s Men of Honor Awards Ceremony on Saturday, September 28, in the Grand Ballroom at the Rosen Center Hotel located at 9840 International Dr, Orlando, FL 32819. Over 800 guests and honorees are expected to be in attendance. Volunteers are sought to collect honorees and other prominent guests from the dining room are to the backstage area holding area.
Please arrive at the Grand Ballroom by 3:00pm (allow 10 minutes to walk from parking area to the room). Event will end on or about 8:00pm. Parking is available in the rear of the venue. Let the gate guard know you are part of the crew for the ONYX Magazine event in the Grand Ballroom to avoid paying a fee. Should they give you a ticket requiring payment, bring that to us so we can present it to the publisher for settlement.
Attire is all black, comfortable, dress-casual. Volunteers are to come to the Grand Ballroom and present themselves to anyone on the production team. Production members may be identified by a “crew” badge on a lanyard.
The event opens with a performance by Sisaundra Lewis (from “The Voice”) and will host honored guests such as Mayors Buddy Dyer and Jerry Demings. Other celebrity guests will be either presenting or receiving an award. There will be media presence as well.
This is a great opportunity for anyone wishing to gain experience in show production.
Please fill out the form below for consideration. Due to time constraints, we will be able to reply only to those that best match the criteria sought.
